Summer Associate, North America
Valerie is a summer associate working on the Data4Equity project at CPI’s North America office. She is a recent graduate from Cornell University where she double majored in Government and French, while also minoring in Inequality Studies.
Valerie has experience working for a non-partisan think tank in DC called the Sunwater Institute and has worked with Cornell’s Ultimate Re-entry Opportunity where she and her team worked on several issues including overcrowding and nutrition issues within local prisons.
Additional experience Valerie brings to her team here at CPI come from her role as president of her college’s ambassadors, her role as a Cornell tour guide and information specialist, and her position as a peer mentor and pen pal to juvenile and adult inmates at local prisons in the Ithaca area.
